Fall Fashion

I checked out some of the fall fashion in the stores today. I feel like I've been attacked by ruffles, jeggings and big, knitted things that masquerade as cardigans. Eek! Why are people wearing these things?

I plan to stay far away from ruffles and jeggings this fall. I'm looking for something with a little more attitude. Like...

Marianne Faithful in Girl on a motorcycle.

Gwen Stefani

Buffy - because if life gives you demons, you slay them.
Unless they are blond punk vampires, then you may wanna... ehm... nevermind.

No Doubt On The Road Again?

It looks like No Doubt are getting ready to make music together again. Their website features a new image of the band and an animated "chat" where band members talk about playing music, going on tour and writing new material.

Quite a clever way to announce their return. And a lot more fun than a regular press release.

Another strong indicator that No Doubt are getting back together is that the website singer Gwen Stefani used for her solo career has been redirected to the band's website.
